A. Quotes are honoured for 30 calendar days

A. A written approval or explanation of alterations/changes needs to be emailed or faxed to us before we can move the job into production.

Q. What if there are changes needed after I receive my proof?

o Media (CD, DVD, etc)
o Email
o Post

Q. Do you supply the garments?

A. Yes we do, and there is a huge range to choose from - why not browse our Online Garment Catalogue - click here. If you have any queries or cannot find what you want, please contact us.

Q. Can we supply our own garments?

A. Yes you can, although for 10 or less customer supplied garments there is a surcharge of£1.00 per garment

Q. If we already have an embroidery disc, can we use that?

A. Probably yes, we can use most standard embroidery formats.

Q. Do you have any stock designs that we can use?

A. We have over 20,000 stock designs for you to choose from. Use the following link to browse the design catalogue. Use of any of the stock designs costs just £5.00 each - much cheaper than having a design specially set up. As a guide designs for left breast position would typically be no larger than about 85mm wide or tall and typically have less than 10,000 stitches.

Q. Does it cost extra to have more than one colour in the design?

A. No it doesn't. Unlike screen printing where every colour costs money, the number of colours in embroidery makes no difference to the cost. Our machines can cope with 12 colours, but most designs have 6 or fewer colours. With transfer printing we can produce full-colour photographic type images for no extra.

Q. How do you turn our logo into stitching?

A. The process is called digitising and the quality of the final embroidery rests very much on the skill of the digitiser. Using specialist software the digitiser coverts the image into instructions for the embroidery machine to know where to stitch, what type of stitch to use and much more. Many people can digitise, but not all of them can digitise well. Our digitiser has been doing our work for a number of years and has received many favourable comments from customers who have previously had designs digitised elsewhere.

Q. We've already got a logo, can we use that?

A. Most certainly. We need a good quality colour copy of your logo and the size you want it. Our preference is for the artwork to be in the form of a PC graphics file, e.g. JPEG, TIFF etc., although we can use a paper copy as the artwork. The more complex the design the bigger we need the image, if possible real size or larger.

Q. If we just want some text, is there a set up charge?

A. Providing we can match your font to one of our existing fonts, there is no set up charge. If we can't match it, then there will be a set-up charge. To see some of our most popular fonts, click here. This is not a complete list, but shows the fonts that give the best results.

Q. Are there any guidelines for embroidered text to look good?

A. The minimum size for text is 5mm high, use a simple font that doesn't have too many narrow areas. Ideally the size should be at least 8mm high and in a block font.

Q. If we come back for more embroidery, does it have to be set up again?

A. No. Once the design has been set up, we store the embroidery file ready for future use. You only pay for the actually embroidery to be done.
