T-SHIRT PRINTING

JKL Clothing specialise in T-Shirt printing. We can also print a wide range of other garments and products. Our T-shirt printing department produces high definition screen-printed garments in quantities ranging from our minimum order of 10 through to 20,000 plus.

All our T-Shirt printing is done by a process known as screen-printing.

WHAT IS SCREEN-PRINTING?

Screen printing (or serigraphy) is a time-honored printing technology that is used to print everything from t-shirt printing and short-run posters, to novelties like coffee mugs, calculators, and other fun promotional items. Screen printing is most valued for its ability to print on a wide variety of materials with flexibility. Each color requires a screen. A frame is covered with screen material, and a stencil is affixed to the screen. Solid areas in the stencil block the ink from getting through the screen, while open areas in the stencil allow the ink to flow through. The ink is forced through the screen using a squeegee.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

(Please note our minimum order quantity is 10)

Printing charge - 1st Colour: (ex VAT)
Printing charge - per extra Colour: (ex VAT)

Screen print setup is charged at £15.00 per screen (ex VAT), for orders fewer than 100 items and FREE on all orders over this amount.

One screen is required for each colour printed, per design. For example, a one colour front and back print requires two screens if the design on the front is different to the design on the back.

HOW TO WORK OUT YOUR INDIVIDUAL PRICE?

For T-shirt printing and screen-printing onto all our garments, the easiest way to calculate your price is to fill in our print quote details form at the bottom of this page and forward this together with an uploaded image of your artwork/logo and we will then send you a full costing.

To work out the price yourself. Firstly select your garment. A full catalogue of all our garments, together with prices is available on our website (don’t forget to calculate the exact quantity you require, as this will affect both the price of the garment and the price of the print). Then select the garment colour, this is important because if we are to print a light colour onto a dark garment e.g. white onto black, a base white will be required so that the garment colour does not show through the print. This will then mean the addition of another colour to the print. Then count the number of colours within your design (don’t forget to add a base white colour if we are printing a light colour onto a dark garment).

Then calculate the print cost per garment using the table above. Finally add the screen origination cost to get your final total.
